    Maybe they were finished during the second WW and Sears didn't want the product to reflect the country of origin, Germany.

    They do shave great. Here are a couple I used to have but they went to another shave den. Mint and I never shaved with them ;

    I hadn't thought of that John, and it is quite possible. I know that Ern made razors for Sears later on, and they were marked 'Germany.'

    I read one thing that said that it was acceptable to use a sticker to mark the country of origin. Has anyone else heard of this?

    Maybe it had a sticker on it that isn't there anymore?

    Don't know the movie but sure sounds like a Winston Churchill quote.

    The Churchill Society London. Churchill's Speeches.
