Hopefully this is worth watching and not a big let down...
Let's hope they resurrect the Wade & Butcher name and do it the justice that it deserves.
We'll see!

Makes me scratch my head and think where are all these skilled grinders and Honemisters going to come from, it's not like you can pick up where they left off many decades before it just doesn't add up in my head.

I prefer new production razors over vintage so depending on what's being offered this could be really nice.
If they're using good steel and have good quality control I'd guess things will go well.

While I have no faith it will be as good as the original, imagine how cool it would be if they actually did do as well.

Agreed - no way they can capture the essence of the way that steel was forged and ground, the character that makes an old Sheffield what it is can't be recaptured - will probably just be some stock steel shaped like a vintage razor...but I am very interested to see what they come up with and will keep an open mind.

I predict a 'modern design' 5/8 to 6/8 made by who knows who. Maybe a 7/8 down the road.
Ain't gonna be anything like the good old stuff. I just don't see how it could be done with obstacles aforementioned. May be wrong. Kindof hope I am!
Anyway, with all the good pile coming out of Japan....I cannot see it. JMO"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.
