Dubl Ducks used to be allowed in this house, they were given more than enough chance to get along. They were treated well, revered even, and were never given any reason not to feel welcome.
They turned out to be arseholes, and as a result, got booted and aren't welcome here again.....

Well don't shed any tears, that Griffon is safely stored. I do bring it out once in awhile to see if the snake still has fangs.
Here's my great grandfather's W&B:

Thanked: 96On an earlier post I said that the ability of a razor to take a edge that is sharp yet shaves smooth has a lot to do with it. I have razors that when I hold it it's like part of my hand. Great balance. I am sure the scales, the grind and metal of the blade etc has a lot to do with it. Somehow, when you get the razor that just feels good in your hand, holds a great edge and gives a really smooth shave, you know your going to enjoy the moment.

Thanked: 250I have only one razor that doesn't like me, my Henry Sears 3/8. I call it my "Razor From Hell". In 46 years of straight shaving I have never had a shave with it where it didn't draw blood.

My buddy pinklather calls 3/8 razors 'Strop Eaters'.

I don't like 5/8 or smaller. As mentioned, they flip too fast for me.
