Is it just me?
Does anyone else have a razor that just doesn't seem to like you? I just happen to have one. The edge is right, I bought the razor from a very trustworthy source at a meet up (I bought a Clauss from the same gentleman the same day and it has stayed in my rotation since). There is nothing physically wrong with the razor. This razor and I just can not seem to be on the same page at the same time.
It has become funny to me now and I have a warm spot in my heart for this razor.. I just don't think it likes me.
I am by no means bashing Worcester razors.John

Thats kind funny to me. I was born and raised in Worcester, Ma.
I have about sixty razors and do have one or two that I just have "bad karma" with.
Probably happens to more of us than you think.

That's the fun part about shaving with multiple razors,
learning their characters.
Most shave about the same, but there are those that are unique, and shave off the beaten path of others. Give them your fullest attention, and they will tell "YOU" what the problem is.
I take it this one likes to bite.?
Or does it give you razor burn.?Mike

short answer , Yes. long answer, a Dubl Duck, 4/8 that got early on, its a hollow ground razor that does take a great edge, but it has bit me every time I use it, so it resides in the safe away from innocent people! I know its jut me, but I think the smaller size affects my handling of this blade, but a Dracula blade it is Tc

It likes to bite. Better yet it likes to bite me!! The razor itself passes the hanging hair test with no effort. I have been shaving with a straight for about 2 years. I can write left or right handed, I shave left hand left side, right hand right side, or left hand right side, right hand left side, or left hand whole face or right hand whole face. I know my technique can improve and will with time, but this razor takes a bite no matter where I start on face or with which hand.
I don't have that issue with any other razor no matter the size, grind , country of origin, point, scales etc. Makes me like this razor a little more.
What a fun journey!John

Thanked: 480Somewhere on here is another thread, where I mention my ongoing failure to enjoy the Friodur 451... I have owned 4 of them at this point, and each...and...every...one.... takes a bite out of me! So I never keep them long. Just something about them that does not agree with my shaving style I guess.
