    They came from Supplee Hardware.

Quote from Manah; "Supplee Hardware Co. was in business 1905-1920's. This hardware was at 503 Market Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They were the outgrowth of LLoyd, Supplee & Walton. In the early 1920's, they became the Supplee-Biddle Hardware."

    Native American Swastika, Black Celluloid.
I needed scales for the 'Day and Night Tobacco' Worcester blade and the 'Swastika Indian' scales needed a blade?

I knew it wasn't a nazi Swastika. I have seen this type of Swastika symbol in pictures of a bible. Very interesting scales. Very interesting indeed!

A few threads on the subject here. Doing an internet search tells us a lot!

A 3/8 Torrey was my first razor.
It was actually a 4/8, but after 30 some years it became s 3/8. Only bit me once, that was bad. Wished I'd never restored it, sanded it so much that it turned it into foil. But it taught me a good lesson.
    1. Don't fix what's not broken
    2. Don't sand a blade from toe-heal, or vice versa

I have been known to "over restore" a razor as well. I agree if it ain't broke don't fix it. Just hone it, strop it and prevent it from getting worse. The shave is what really matters anyway.

Dovo Encina, hated that thing as soon as it arrived. It's a bit like when you get the mutt home that you picked up from the rescue centre, only to realise that it hates you and will chew your face off as soon as you let your guard down.

6/8 Amco, beautiful razor but crazy sharp square point . Always end up looking like I just had a punch up with a Maine coon.

Why not round it a bit?
