I am seeing a reft of DR Balfanz razors on Ebay from sellers in Japan and some in the U.S.
So many, in fact, prices are really good. These were made by Dovo and are a great size and grind for beginners, IMO.
Not a beginner myself, but I really dig mine!

    Thanks....

It is amazing to shave with - but let your concentration drift and that point will bring you back to the here and now....you look like you've been in a gang fight and your gang didn't show up...

I can't bring myself to the thought of even slightly easing the point so it's a special day razor...

Indeed, Charlie Lewis is an accomplished artist. No two of his works are the same.
I am quite fortunate to own one due to Charlie's generosity and a strange sequence of events!

Definitely a special shave as I use it.

get you something from the Buy Sell Trade section from a member who has been here a while so it will be shave ready , and not listen to who told you those cheap Pakistani razors were good, their advise isn't very good. we have a list of razors "Do Not BUY" in our library , read it. now most german made or English made vintage will be safe to buy , but condition is everything. as a new guy this is hard to tell from pictures. that's why buy a inexpensive razor from one of our members to get on the right path, cause I can almost bet that your Silver Dollar really isn't shave ready. so get something that will hold a good edge from a guy who shaves with one and knows how to hone, then learn to shave and strop.

list your location in your profile so members close to you can reach out when you have a need and meet up with someone who can shorten your learning curve, but most of all don't get these RSO,s in your line up, set your self up for success Tc
