    from what i've read the company shut down in 1907 and the blade says "bison 411" and i havent been able to find any info on that particuler one
    what would be a great razor for me since ive pretty have a gold dollar as my primary

    The vintage should be good.

    Max made custom razors for Bison, those are also quality.

    i'll try to give more details once i have it all
    i remember is that it was made in new york and it was bison haha
    when i get the next one which would be a good one to get?

    In my personal opinion go with vintage blades. just make sure they are clean of chips, and with no pitting close to the bevels. Look for less spine honewear, and also no frowns.

    any particular brands you'd reccomend? where could i find good quality razors for decent prices?

    It may well be a vintage razor! They put every name under the sun on them.

    well now it wont be until monday until i can get it back.
    i cant wait to start my own honing.
    i've heard the dovos are a really good brand is there any other newer brands yall would reccomend?
