I saw at least 2-3 Bengall's listed on the bay today.. But always a risk on the bay.. If you are interested I will find them and send the listing to you..

I think the most important thing is to shave with a razor that has been honed by someone who knows how to put a good edge on it. When I first started, I bought a couple of big name razors that I couldn't get good shaves from. I then ordered a new Ralf Aust razor from a reliable vendor who put a great edge on it, and the difference was remarkable-it gave me confidence that I could get a great shave with a straight razor. If you're going to go the vintage route, the BST here is excellent, I would recommend staying away from the bay until you get some more experience.

Yeah, well I haven't heard one bad thing about Ralf Aust. If you particularly want a new razor, that would be my pick.

I will be happy to PM those to you tonight.. Also send you some razors on the bay that might interest you from reputable bay sellers.. As Utopian said about Aust, hard to beat and I hear you can get a brand new one sent to your front door from SRD.. 5/8 I believe for $102.00. Check that out

Matt at Griffiths is an excellent vendor and his restored vintage razors are well done and reasonably priced.
