Thanked: 315You are miles ahead of where I was when I started. I tried repairing and honing a vintage myself and it was not a good experience.
Wow, you bought 3 more! With that nice razor Outback sent and those you have a really nice set of razors.- Joshua

Thanked: 8Actually another senior member gave me the other 3. But I will be paying it forward when I can with other new members. I will say this though I have shaved with the one outback gave me and one of the new ones. I’m never going back to the multi blade razors again.

Thanked: 2Now that is a great thread
Just wondering, have you gone back to Amazon and given the two razors you bought their appropriate reviews?

Thanked: 96My father used to tell us you can buy the oats before or after the horse eats it. One variable is the steel used. A good quality steel if property honed ie the bevel set correctly should give you a quality shave. What are you using to strop the razors? I suggest you lay your strop flat on a table and see if the helps.
