In all seriousness though, that is good advice. It can become like chasing the dragon if you don't keep it in perspective. Many (if not most) of us wouldn't be here if we weren't in need of that advice.

I'm not familiar with that make. Is that a trap door razor? I can't tell from the pic.

I am not an administrator and cannot help you with deleting your account but as another member of SRP I would appeal to you to reconsider. This site is about shaving as an art form in all its many embodiments. Unless you don't intend to ever shave again, and even if you don't, you may find something here at the very least interesting if not helpful. I can only speak for myself but am convinced that I represent the sentiments of others by saying that if you were offended or put off by any comments that it was not intentional and ask your forgiveness. I know that your post went adrift from where you started it and I may have played a part in that but it was not for lack of interest in what you posted. Sometimes conversations morphe into something else. If that happens to me I try to post a gentle re-direction back to my own topic. Perhaps your wish to leave the site has nothing to do with any of that but I would encourage you to leave your membership open even if you don't intend to participate at present. Time changes all nature of things and we never know what the future may bring.
Whatever the case Best of luck to you in your life

Well, maybe this won’t help the OP, but probably everyone has a problem spot or just manages to miss a few whiskers during the shave.

I do a post shave ‘dry pass’ ATG. When I’m done with my normal 2-pass shave, one WTG and one ATG, I rinse and towel dry my face, then wash out the brush and dry the tips, clean up the bowl if used. Then I do a dry ATG pass very lightly on areas that I can feel any stubble. I will repeat, very lightly. Usually on my neck or under the jawline. If your soap is good and the razor properly honed, all is well.

That takes it all off, dolphin smooth.

Using the Hydro5 sense today i got a perfect bbs everywhere after a good lathering with Red proraso and my trusty Wilkinson brush. 2 passes wtg atg an just 2/3 touch-UPS and the bbs was complete even on my trouble area. I'm impressed. Obviously those modern multiblade razors are not just marketing.

Use what ever works best for you. You won't get too many comments on cartridge razors from a forum dedicated to users of straight razors.

That's why I asked for my account removal. If, as a cart user i have to post something in an "enemy" field, staying here is useless.
