Thread: Favorite size?

5/8's do shave well and all but my favorite always seems to be the touch bigger ones. Not that I'm getting rid of the 5/8's that is haha, only if they don't feel right.

a 6/8 frame back that I have, I also have several 5/8 that I will always have.

6/8, no doubts, i somehow find it also the easiest to strop.

5/8 and 6/8 are my favorite. Larger sizes feel too cumbersome to me.

I don't think size matters that much. I always thought I preferred bigger blades (6/8 and over) but now have a couple of very nice and sharp 5/8 that I really like as much.

My preferred razor is my sharpest one, at the moment that is my 11/16 Friodur which is so &%@#! sharp (honed by me I'm proud to say) it occasionally just digs itself into microbumps on my face to cause little nicks.

11/16 for me is the minimum. Anything less just feels puny.
If I had to take it in 1/8 increments, I'd probably choose 6/8 and 7/8.

I've only got a 5/8 and 6/8 at this point. I tend to prefer the 5/8 so far but I'm withholding final judgement until I have more razors... a LOT more
