I agree Mike. Price will be the biggest point for most. Myself included. Your last idea was perfect- 7/8 spanish point, ATS, maestro's choice scales

I would hope we would see the price come in closer to the $200 - $250.00 mark. It would be a big stretch for a lot of us at that price.

Don't get me wrong here, I want a Maestro as much as the next guy. I have heard however from guys who have tried both the highest end razors and the antique shop specials that there is really a fine line of difference in shave quality between those hand forged expensive razors of today and quality steel of the old days. Basically, they say that you can get an equally good shave from both. With that being said, I agree with Kenrup in terms of the price guys are hoping for. I cannot and maybe will not (out of principal) buy a $400+ razor. I don't have that kind of cash. A Maestro being available for $200 would let guys who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford it try out the fancy craftsmanship and enjoy a luxury razor.

Thanked: 4942The razors on the SRD site are still good. The prices however are not. I am going to be removing all the pricing and putting in a call for pricing because the Euro has gone up so much.
We should still be able to come up with something good for the group buy in any case. I am waiting to hear from the Maestro as we speak. I'm trying to be able to get him to make as many as possible so that as many of you will be able to get one as possible.
Thanks!

Guys, I'm sure this will be a great deal especially with the rising Euro. My new wholesale pricing on Dovos from my supplier is nearly what I was retailing them for just a week ago! The Maestro prices wil only go up in time.
Being handcrafted as it is though I am sure there is a limit below which one simply could not be offered.
