It seems we have a lot of different requests and price ranges wished for. It might be a good idea to have two choices with the less expensive steel and cheaper scales and maybe Damascus with horn scales of some kind. A lower end price wise and an upper end in Damascus. Oh no, now I'm going to have to get two of them.

I'm just really excited about the prospect at getting a Livi (especially at a reduced rate) and have decided that whatever Lynn and the Maestro come up with will be fantastic and well worth whatever the cost turns out to be. I'll find a way to make it happen!

I would more support the less expensive options just because it may be within my reach. I am one of the folks that can't really give an opinion on specific choices since odds are, I won't be able to afford it.
With that said, the I'm sure a custom (or rather limited edition) razor from the Maestro will be excellent regardless of the final options.....
Waiting to see how this pans out!

Thanked: 9Maybe a regrind and a Damascus then, to cover both ends of the spectrum?
Let's see what the Maestro says
Cheers

Thanked: 335The less expensive options may be the regrinds, but I'm guessing that option won't be raised with the Maestro.
To save maximal money, we could always go to the Dovo faux tortise shell in 6/8 with SRP vibrator etched on the back scale.
Could Zeepk make a special run of 7/8 blades?
Maybe I should stop now

Thanked: 335Lynn,
The troops seem to be getting restless, mighty restless. You can tell that by their insistence on raising the 8th factor. Within a few days they should be up to 8-8ths and soon may be crowding 9. If this goes on much longer we probably will have to change to 1/4's as they nickle and dime their way up the widths.
Is there any word from the Maestro yet? How's he at making 4/halves blades? Tsunamis may become insignificant in comparison. We may not be able to find enough moose antlers for scales - oh my!
