That would seem a bit unfair given all the uncertainties with the design and ordering. I'd imagine there'll be some 'fair' rule based on seniority/participation, I mean it's an SRP razor after all. There's that big crash of 2008 thing messing up things a little bit, but I suppose whoever has registered since then isn't senior enough to deserve SRP branded Livi and can wait till the next group buy.Quote:

In for square if you're still counting. Definitely not the pointy one. Olives look altogether wrong with pointy ends; then again, olives look altogether wrong unless they skewered on a tooth pick and dunked into a Martini.
If the Maestro ends up making a couple of those undersized 6/8 instead of the Chicago, broad shouldered, hog butcher, stacker of wheat type 7/8's, I could be talked into that too.

one problem I see is that some of us posted pre crash so our posts are not showing now. how do we deal with that?

This thread has gone throught many twists and turns so I posted/voted for my preference on the poll thread. Then I watched and waited until we got information about the price style size etc. I too like the scales in post #242 and would definately be in if it is possible to buy one. I'll keep an eye out to see what is finally decided and remain hopeful.

my comment was certainly tongue-in-cheek, perhaps quite a bit veiled too, but i'd rather not be more explicit than this :)
I think it's best to keep this in the right perspective. It's just a promo razor, as far as I know Sgn. Livi isn't closing his shop after this order - there are plenty of razors for everybody who wants one. Getting a discount is nice, but we're here because we like shaving, not shopping...
Ok, here are some winks to make sure my tone comes right this time :cool:;):p
I will point out that those who didn't stick their hand up and say "Livi, Yes Please" are quick to come up with a method that isn't selecting the people who stuck up their hands and said "Livi, Yes Please"
Fair always seems to be the method that is most likely to select me.
