Being a Jeweler, I have a large industrial steam cleaner in the house, Razors, Guns, even Jeep parts get steamed off, sure is handy.

Now for the good part of this post, a simple steam cleaner can be made with a disposable propane bottle, about quart size with a piece of steel brake line fit into a screw on top that fits the threads already there, add a .032 or so mig welder tip to the steam out end of steam nozzle. I take out the core and drill to widen it out so water can be put in, in essence a mini still, a single propane burner and you have a steamer that works well for little $.

OR, you can buy a hand held electric steamer off the TV for 20$ or so. Just a good no chemical way to clean Blades.
