Well, I ended up ordering one from Martin at Rasurpur.de as well - and it arrived yesterday!!!! Shaved with it this morning and it is a beast (but in a great way).

The grip is something to get used to (for me) but it was incredibly easy to strop. The blade is smooth and comfortable, but the difference is in the weight and grind. I have other 6/8's and other 1/4 grinds but this one is completely different from the others. The heft was noticeable, but that did not distract from control.

I can't wait to shave again... is it tomorrow yet???
