i had 1 of them dorko 300-with original handle +original box made from same material as a handle.it was for travelers dorko.Dorko gives great shave i would say 1 of the nicest.
300 should made from silver steel at least what i had made "best silver steel"
why i am saying it is not worth it.
1 st handle is not original handle
2 i think seller had worked on blade(iam not sure warped etc.
    3.a lot money to spend
it is not special blade or edition.

by the way i sold mine aproximately for 65 quite time ago
An 8/8 blade of any kind is like a silver dollar - ya, it's only worth a dollar on it's face value but try to find one! 8/8 blades of any discription are rare.

Mike made fantastic scales for a relative beginner. I have two razors with mammoth ivory bark scales he made. One is a brand new 7/8 TI and the other is a W&B 8/8 For Barbers Use. The mammoth ivory bark he found for these scales can't even be purchased in pieces that big because of the curvature of the tusks and the basic rarity of them anyway. I have tried to find more like the quality he rounded up but it doesn't seem to exist.

Well, you sell what is apparently the last batch of NOS ones. I find the red handles down putting, but having had 6 shaves with my NOS one (black handles, lovely), I would encourage anyone to get one while they last. I'll write a proper review shortly, but given the choice between a Le Grelot 6/8 1/4 hollow and the Dorko 300, I'd go for the Dorko.

What about the dorko 300 vs. the wacker 1/4 ground 6/8 french point?

I have a similar Dorko 300. While it shaves very well do not expect reasonable scales on it. The one I purchased had really cheap crappy scales. I replaced the scales even before honing the blade. You can see a pic of it under the Dorko club, the one in cocobola under my post.
