Default don't you hate it when you're outbid!?

Damnit!!! was really wanting a 9/8 wade & butcher on ebay, put in a bid and got outbid by a buck!!!! worst part, looked at what the guy normally buys, looks like he's into antique sound systems not even razors. probably won't even shave with it. bastard.

That is a bummer, Red. I'm no Ebay expert, but just because it ended with him buying it for a buck more than you could have meant that in reality he could have set a snipe much higher; so, if it's any consolation to you, you may have been outbid by quite a bit.

I don't like when Blaireau outbids me on natural stones that I want.

I know...it is a real kick in the teeth to get outsniped, but I usually don't get frustrated because I am pretty cheap, and only get the rare razors that everybody else forgot to look at.

Well, that razor looks in need of quite a bit of sanding.
You only wanted it for $78, he wanted it more, how much more we won't know

yeah, better that way anyways, I keep telling myself that if I hold off on buying more of these in need of reconditioning I can get some nice ones from some of the guys on here that make them for some good prices. good thing I lost out on a 7 day set last night too, more money I didn't need to spend. :-) I figure that there is probably a talented maker here that could do a large blade to my desire for a good price if I am just patient and stars align so I find money at the same time as a person that can do it.

guess I'd better go get ready for work.

That is why I am glad when I get outbid more often then not.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Not at all! In fact, I usually enjoy a sigh of relief when I lose an auction.

yes ... yes i do! my third ebay buy ever was a decent DE for $1.24 ( $10 to ship ha!) and of course that got me addicted as i thought "if i got this one that easily then there should be lots of other deals out there", and my disappointment started. after that i have been outbid on everything but one straight razor ( not a big brand name) and i have had to learn some patience.

now that i think of it i was probably outbid by some people on here. i'm not as mad now
