Thread: Your favorite Dovo Razor POLL

My apologies if this thread has been posted before. I am trying to help a big guy with red suit decide what would be good choice. I have read a lot about the Special but not much about the others. Which of these current Dovos is your favorite and why?

1) Ebony 5/8

2) Bergischer Lowe 5/8

3) Bismarck 5/8

4) Special 5/8

I noticed that all of the choices in the poll are for 5/8 razors.Have you decided that you will only ask Santa for a 5/8 size?My first razor purchase was a 6/8 Dovo special from Straight Razor Designs,honed by Lynn or Don.I have shaved with some 5/8 razors before this purchase and did not particularly like the feel of the "smaller" blades.Anyway,love the Special,only in 6/8.

My favourite dovo is not on the list. Have two of them. But if I were to buy another one as my mind is now. I would still be torn between a BLove and a Bismark.

I have 2 Bismark roundpoints- I do believe they are 6/8 blades though.Of the Dovo brand, they are my favorite.

I'm with you, I don't care for the 5/8th. I like the 6/8th's or bigger. It's just feels better to me. personal preference.

I picked the Special.....

Each is an excellent razor. The BL is just so gorgeous! No stainless Dovos in your thinking? The MOP is a knockout and a great shaver as well.

I love my Dovo 6/8th special in faux tortoise scales - hands down one of my best shavers (and very reasonably priced as well...for a new razor).
