I have to assume mostly collectors are the ones driving up the prices to whatever a collector deems fair value. Leaves me out, but this is the nature of that game. Just another example of the cancer of our day and age – anything can become collectable if someone has too much expendable cash and needs to feel important. Another thing I see frequently on Ebay - Prices for not rare items being pushed up over retail by people who don’t really know what they are buying and just assume Ebay is a deal. I suppose this can happen with straight razors too.

Forget about a Wonderedge. In great condition your talking $300+
Goldedge in great condition, probably over $200
A number one you should be able to get a great one for around $100.

I always say with Eboy if your patient you will get what you want for your price if your reasonable.
Couldn't agree more. I was able to pick up a NOS Hess 44 Stainless for 150 bucks. I felt that was very reasonable. I also picked up a Puma (can't remember the model) that was in fair condition for 18 bucks. It cleaned up to look like brand new, and is one of my favorite shavers.
