zib, You should remember that you are not the only person reading our replies to your thread and that our answers, although responding to your thread, are meant for everyone that is interested in reading your thread.
We are not criticizing your thoughts on the condition of your newly arrived straight or your feelings of disappointment. I would feel the same way. All we are trying to do is suggest how this unfortunate event may have happened and to possibly reduce the sting.
That said, you are welcome to take my comments any way you prefer.“If you always do what you always did, you will always get what you always got.” (A. Einstein)

Thanked: 1212Hmm, what a puzzling thread. Zib bought a razor of a member and received one with a nicked edge, right? I can only speculate, of course.
Let's assume that's what has happened for a minute here. Must we now also assume that the seller knew up front he was sending a razor with a damaged edge? Not really knowing either one of both protagonists (Zib and Seller, the unknown SRP member), we could just as easily assume that Zib nicked the edge while opening the package. After all, We Trust No One, sir.
I'm only joking of course. Let's assume that most people are trustworthy. The majority of transactions on SRP work out fine, so that kind of proofs the general thrustworthyness of the SRP-members.
So, Zib, don't sob. But contact the seller instead, and see what you can work out. High chance that you're both trustworthy and able to resolve the situation.

Good luck,

Always contact the seller first. Send him a pic if necessary. Any number of things might have happened, and generally, people will try to do the right thing.
But just starting a public complaint without even doing is a low thing to do.
And since you edited out your message, this thread has become pointless so I am closing it.
