Thanked: 3I'm also curious if you talked with the seller before starting this thread. I understand and agree with being cautious, but members here tend to be good, honest people. If you talked to the seller when you realized what was wrong, there's a decent change they'd take steps to make things right.

Sorry to hear about your unpleasant surprise. As you know, the edges on our 'toys' are very delicate and a hard stare can almost put a small dent in it. I may have gotten bumped at the last handeling just prior to shipping w/o notice.

I don’t know… “too trusting” might not be appropriate, If there was good communication between you and the member selling the razor and the razor arrived in a timely fashion, It seems to me that if you did not notice the nick when it first arrived, this had to be one small nick and the other member may have not had any doing with it. Has the seller made any condolences?

I would have contacted the seller to see what happened before posting here - it's just SRP etiquette.
Sorry to hear your edge was less than perfect though.
