Thanked: 1Custom Razors?
Does anyone own custom made razors? Want
to brag about them, complain about them?
I finnally broke down an ordered a matching pair
(except the spine) of 8/8's, spanish point, made
for me. I'll be letting you know when I get them.

Who did you order from? There are some pretty amazing makers out there right now.
I own a few, and love them all, from the ones with just new scales and a touched up blade to full customs.
Have a Robert Williams coming that I should be hearing about any day now, as I was close to the top of the list some time ago....

I don't know quite what you intended with this thread.
My custom came from L.R. Harner. It was the second he made in this style (after Lynn's). I am very satisfied. It is 15/16 and the only really large blade I have.
I should use it tonight!!

I have a few customs already (Chandler, Warner, & Livi), and a RW on order too.
What gets me excited is seeing more knifemakers (e.g., posts on knife forums) venturing into making razors. To me, they are kinda like modern day equivalents of all the different brands/manufacturers of decades ago -- lots of different materials, styles, and great craftsmanship.
