We have 4 Hess razors. #1, a Forty-Two and a 2 Forty-Four. Oh BTW Jimmy the # 1 is a 8/8

I tattooed him a few times when I worked on south beach years ago.

That's cool Jimmy!!I tattooed him a few times when I worked on south beach years ago.
I did post the Hess #1 as 7/8s. Holli4pirating stopped over and when he saw it he thought it was larger. We found another 1/8 plus somewhere when we we measured it. Holli calls it the 'spatula'. This is one that needs to be seen live. When you open it the blade keeps coming out of the scales. It looks like a magic trick!
Hero is a heavy label to carry around Jimmy, but thanks!!

I've posted these pics before, but I just can't pass up the opportunity to gush about my favorite razor. I'm up to around 25 or so razors, and my Hess is by far my favorite. Got it NOS off of ebay last fall for 150 bucks. If I come across another one, I'd gladly pay twice that much to add it to the collection.
Edit: My wife says if I'm gonna post pictures of my prize razors, I have to post a picture of one of my prize kids, too. This one was *not* NOS off of ebay...
