    Default hope for the hopeful?

    Never give up.
I purchased an old 1937 TI from someone and had it shipped, (with delivery confirmation but without insurance) to my house. A couple of days went by, and I expected it any day. The USPS tracking system is extremely inept, so I have grown to not trust it. However, on this occasion, the system stated delivered when no such package had been delivered. I spoke to just about everyone at the post office, and got the ultimate answer that it had been lost. I felt so frustrated. In the afternoons, when I could catch her, I kept asking my mail carrier,"Do you, by chance, remember this one package a few weeks ago?" LOL of course she had no such memory. I was just grabbing at straws. Well, somehow, about a month and a half later, the razor arrived at the door. No explanation of where it had been. The post mark date matched up with the original send dates. The blade in good condition. I was elated! I didn't ask any questions.

Maybe in the not too distant future, some mail worker will find your missing package in between the seats of the van. Then that package may find its way to you. Here's to hope.
