The Blackfoot day names do not sound bad either!
Edit: however, big blades may be needed to fit "otómohtsisto’kissikatoyiiksistsik oohy" in...

Thanked: 12Ooh, I hope you can get the tang style with the sweet thumb notch. So attractive; my favorite part of TI's.
Out of curiosity, why do you want the names to be in Latin, and not in French?

Thanked: 19Thank you for the posting here fellows. I am very close to placing my order now. I am working with Steve on the final details and it shouldn't be more than 2-3 days before we have everything in place. I will post here when I place the order to let you all know what I have decided to go with. I just want to say that I got some inspiration from your ideas and I thank you al for that. I am also trying to work with Steve to make a nice custom box especially for the set. Thank you Jimmy for that idea.

Thanked: 19I hope also to be able to get the thumb notch. I am still trying to find that out. As for the days of the week in french ... well I feel like nothing really connects me to France. Been there a few time... nice country and all but not my style. Though I recommend to everyone who have not yet been in Paris to go at least once but still... latin is much more closer to my origins.

Thanked: 31i would have the days in latin on the spine also with my last name. 6 or 7/8 wedge blade 1/4 grind no gold wash ivory or mamoth scales with nickel pins with a small nickel plate inlaid with your first name etched into that with either the spike point or barbers notch... anything but round!

Having your own name etched into the blade or the scales is an interesting idea but if you do kiss a piece of your resale value goodbye.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
