I don't know why but I wanted it. So I bid and won. Anyway, this will be my first razor; is it ok that the blade has been shortened? Was this a good deal? Did I get myself into something I shouldn't have? Please help...I'm a bit queezy.
Like you, I'm basically brand new to this. Only a month and a half of shaving with a straight. I am interested in what you have to say about this after you use it.

I have been wondering if anyone produced blades that are only 1 1/2 inches long or so. I have trouble with the mustache area with my DOVO due to it's length and thought a shorter blade would be easier to manipulate in the tight areas. I'm afraid while I'm watching my cutting in the mirror that I'm going to slice my nose with the far end of the razor or when I hold the opposite way, my cheek.
