Are you going to restore it or just hone it up and go for it?
I think that I am just going to hone it up. I love the patina on it & would really hate to loose it.

I can just see that scenario.

    "OH GOD, THAT'S ONLY 7.50?!"

    "Uh, that's 75..."

    "But the tag says.."

"75. Take it or leave it"

I almost didn't buy the second one (Wade & Butcher), but decided to see how it would hone up and shave. If I don't like it, you "may" see it in the classifieds...will see. Just put some stones in water...

If there is a part 3 could you save it for another day? I'm an old man and can't take to much exitment this early in one morning.

I wish I could say there was a part 3, but I can't. I do have a local antique store that usually has quite a few SR's that could use restoring. I've thought about buying them up and re-selling them here on the classifieds just so that they can be put into use again. I could probably make money by putting them on the "bay", but more interested in seeing them get restored and put to use. Opinions, comments, ...? This store owner usually sells them around $15.00
