That is one of the most sought after of the FIllys. I've never had one of that particular model but the photos I've seen show a beautiful razor and I know it shaves wonderfully. Congrats !

Thank you, it took a bit of deliberation but i just couldnt stop visiting his site to look at it and for the cost of a tank of petrol to spend that bit extra for a razor that will last a life time, in that perspective i just had to do it. Its great to shave with, the extra weight just scythes the whiskers off and with the spanish Latoja shaving cream (sad i know but hey, got to make it feel at home ) its always a shaving rotation choice i cant wait to reach.

I think its one of those purchases that you can only weigh up if it is worth the money until you actually get it, the 'off for a bull fight in the bathroom' day is always a good day, id seen a few other posts about them and it just had to be :-) . Plus reading too much Hemingway this summer just sealed getting a Taurino . I used these arguements well with the wife, Hemingway, incessant site watching and 'those guys on SRP say its a great razor to buy'- Razor bought and the wifes happy too not least because ive shut up about it !
