Thanked: 2I know how to search, but many stores don't list their entire product line on their website. Heck, Menards doesn't have any products listed on theirs.
I still find that looking for myself works the best, as even on the phone the employees are not always reliable.

Ace Hardware usually carries it or Simichrome, CapeCod Cloths, etc. If you go the Tuf-glide route(silicone impregnated cloth) stropping will remove the coating. or simply use a tissue to wipe before stropping.
It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain

Thanked: 2I haven't found MAAS yet, but I'll keep looking.
I've tried Brasso and Weiman Silver Cream, but neither are cleaning it up entirely. The rust is gone, but there is a gray discoloration, and maybe a few tiny pitting spots.
Ideas?

I recently purchased a Fiberglass Prep Pen at an electronics store for under $5, don’t remember the exact price. It looks like one of those plastic erasers that feed out a 4-5 inch eraser about ¼ in diameter.
I had read about them a while back, I think most probably here. It is a bundle of fiberglass that you use just like an eraser. Wow it eats rust and most tarnish. Great for the jimps, between the scales by the pin and spot removal. Well worth the five bucks.
I also, have a bundle of wooden stir stick that I use with a small strip of steel wool just clip the end flat with a pair of side cutters. 000 steel wool works well for surface rust without scratching.

Oh, and Gordon's Hardware in DeKalb has MAAS. It's right on Lincoln Hwy, kinda by the post office.
