Wow. You just caught me in a bad month.
Every month for the last half year or so it was 0$.
And next months it will be 0$ as well. Usually I even come out ahead because I sell the occasional razor.
This month, Jimmy kindly agreed to sell me his Lancet point for an undisclosed amount
Granted, it was not near mint and had some hone wear near the point (The point was not perfectly round anymore) and the heel. And the spine has water damage on top...
But we're still talking about a Lancet of course so...
And it is the most wicked, kewlest razor I've ever held.
However, my quest for a Lancet is not over yet. I would still very much like to own one in good condition as well, with little hone wear, no water damage and the toe intact. So while I have no ADs at all, the Lancet is always having like a sword of Damocles over my paypal accountTil shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

$13 plus $5.24 shipping for a cake of MWF. That's the first shaving related purchase I've made in months.
I strop my razor with my eyes closed.

I spent $30 in an antique shop recently for a Wade & Butcher straight, a gold plated Gillette Tech, and a Gillette Travel Tech in a leather case (looks unused). Also bought a Vulfix 404 Boar/Badger mix brush from Bullgoose for $25. First stuff I've bought in years, & don't plan on buying anything else very soon.

Hmmm, let's see, $5 for a Arkansas stone, $13 for a barber's hone, and $19 for a poor man's strop kit which are on the way. I'm really looking forward to getting this stuff so I can hone my Filharmonica #13 and finally start str8 shaving!!!
