Thanked: 60I only shave with one side. Like with all things in the straight razor world it just takes practice. There are a couple of videos floating around that show the non-traditional/unorthodox hand holds that help get you a nice close shave.
Hopefully, the third shave will be the charm (or the 4th, 5th, 6th or 7th).

I just wanted to point out to the guys yet to receive the General that if you try the one sided shave method and you are really having problems there is no shame in using both sides. For the time you have getting the one side shave down might not be something you will master.
That's just an idea.No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

The last I heard it was in transit and that was just a few days ago.

At this point the General is probably getting ready to finish up his travels. He was telling me that since he has been traveling around the country he has learned much about us. Since he feels he knows his enemy really well he thinks he can really kick some Yankee Butt and get his revenge. He also says he has a score to settle with those Canadians for their part in the war.
So we might start thinking about another pass around, if there is any interest and this time I'm considering a far north travel in addition.
Sound off.No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Well, the General is back home again and last night we were sharing a glass or warm Saki together and he was telling me how much he has enjoyed traveling the country and how much he has learned about the enemy. He said if he knew all this back then things would have turned out differently and his fate would have been different. I told him it doesn't matter because by now he'd be dead anyway. He said yes it does because if things were different we'd all be speaking Japanese.
I hope everyone enjoyed their experience with the general and thanks to everyone for their diligence to the rules.
Maybe next year we can do this again if there is enough interest and extend this to Canada. The General says he doesn't like cold weather it makes him mean and ornery. No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Nelson,
I certainly enjoyed the opportunity and the experience. You are a truly top notch act, and aces in my book.
I remain in your debt.

PS.: Once again I apologize for the box affair. It was truly unintentional.Last edited by Snake; 10-16-2011 at 02:51 AM. Reason: One can never apologize enough to a gentleman.
