Thread: unorthodox use of a Cutthroat

When I was in elementary many moons and several continents ago we used DE blades, that we freely bought in the corner store at the sweet age of six or seven, to sharpen pencils. So much so that someone came up with a holder that you could buy at the same store - but nobody did. I favored Wilkinson, because they were shinny, but the common ones were blue Gillette. Incidentally, we called them all Gillette, which infuriated my grand father who called them "shaving sheets".

I've used a Chinese razor looking instrument for opening boxes, but it isn't all that great for it.
