Spikey Pointy Fetish
My razors are mostly round points with one muted square. Really got the urge for something pointier.. like a spike or oblique point..
Just saying..

Thanked: 20Go for it I have three spike (2 that I shave with) and 1 oblique that are great shavers. Just watch out they like to bite.

Thanked: 993It's always an interesting morning when I put the round point away for a spike. I need to make sure I have a sip or two of coffee first and really thing about what I'm about to do....otherwise, like Wmac indicates....you're in for a bite.

Yeah but it's the dangerous ladies that are often the most exciting and satisfying to be around

Watch out for your ear. Bleeds like crazy when that point nicks it.

Oh i did that one already with my muted square, took 15 mins and a quarter styptic stick and much face contorting to bring that under control.. Lesson learned..

Thanked: 1936Just get it out of your system and pick one up! May be hard to find one that isn't slightly muted though as many of us try to tame the spike just a little. True spikes can be a PITA & always demands 100% attention.

Was thinking one of these..
Jubiläums Rasiermesser Mod.1
Second pic down makes it look fairly spikey/oblique. And it's a shoulderless with a big thumb notch which i love
next one after that is a big wedge with barbers notch

That one isn't too bad, good stepping point. I would rather go straight to a spike, but you shouldn't feel like you have to.
I started with a spike and have since moved on to more dangerous (but more controllable) waters with spanish points. Some of the vintage ones are a little muted, but the newest can be downright evil.
