Thanked: 14You will find the Hart Steel wonderful. I too pulled the trigger and purchased on sale. I have 2 4 day sets that I have put together. Four 6/8 round points and four 7/8 square points. These are my two rotation sets. I use one Hart Steel everyday.

I looked at the Heart steel razors some time back. I love the idea of owning one, but I hate the blocky scales! If they would offer more streamlined scales I will buy one. But I'm not dropping 300 bucks for a razor that I am going to re-scale.
Damn shame, look like great blades.

Thanked: 14Interesting comment about the blocky scales. I agree they are larger than required - has anyone reshaped the factory scales?

Hart Steel razor
I really like Hart Steel blades and i will love to own a made in USA razor but i will never pay that much for those razors... Especially If i can buy a TI, Boker, Dovo and Ralf Aust for 100-200$ and get recognized quality ... I understand that it is a business and the whole point is for them to make a profit but still... Way too expensive in my opinion! No real gold on them or anything... Lol sorry! I really like your razor enjoy it!

Thanked: 1I've enjoyed my Hart round-nose 6/8. It's well made, easy to hone, and delivers a great smooth predictable shave. One of my top three razors.
