    That would be great! It appears that this is going to be quite a process. Policy of the company states refunds will take 14 days to process, and that is only after they receive the product. Then I will have to find a new razor (from a reputable vendor, of course), receive it, send it out for honing, then get it back. I will be mistaken for Santa by the time Christmas rolls around...LOL.

    This really is a great group of men here.....you just don't find that too often these days, thank you to all!

    I would recommend Straight Razor Designs. You'll have your new razor within a few days. And not only will it be shave-ready, but it will come with a certificate for a second free honing. All for less than that Amazon razor.

    I agree. Lynn does wonderful work and they are very reliable. I would say as reliable as you can get.

    Now I am just confused.......

    Just as a start I tried to get my father to order from either our classifieds or SRD, but I think he has a Amazon CC. He insisted on ordering from Amazon again.

    I checked and found a Dovo sold by Royal Shave and suggested he order that one, which he did.....

    So the box came from Royal Shave today.....and guess what?? Another "Col. Ichabod Conk" razor!!!

    Nowhere on the paperwork, box, or the razor does the word "Dovo" appear anywhere.....

    The receipt says "Dovo - Best Quality"......

    So now I need to find out.....is this razor a Dovo or not??

    Mvcrash was so kind as to loan me a Dovo special, which clearly states Dovo on the tang....

    What is the deal???

    ARRGGGGG!!!

    your working with a bunch of (morons) that couldent tell a kruger from a w&b lol try going to the classified or to straight razor design straight razor users should buy from other sr users only because we know what is good and what is bad. id never buy from a place that the operators probly have never held a straight let alone know enough about them to sell them.

    Demand a refund, your money back or an award for the difference in product. It's misrepresentation. Do it.

    That's why I went with Royal Shave, they appeared to know shaving, had a solid web site, but then again.....looks can be deceiving!!

    I would love to buy from SRD or the classifieds, but don't have the $$ right now. Will have to wait a couple weeks to buy one of my choosing......

    That's what we did with that Cashco1000 company that sent me the first Razor.....

    While waiting for that refund, my father ordered me a second one from Royal Shave....I thought that vendor would be OK.....but.....

    boy if i had the extra cash id buy that razor off u, as long as its good steel i dont care about names but between my truck restore and getting all my traps out to make me some money i just dont have extra to spend on a razor.
