I have used the Feather artist club for long enough to comment now as follows:
Over the last 4 months of delving into the world of straight razors, I purchased and shaved with 2 Ern's, a wosty "pipe", a Fisher and a kukobushi. Of all these straights, I liked the smallest and lightest razor the best-an Ern "Barbar's Favorite". I enjoy the Feather so much, I have sold all my straights, my hone kit and strops. Yes, I understand many here enjoy using a straight razor, honing and stropping, but for me, "a shave is just a shave" provided it is close and smooth. I am not a collector and so I say, to each their own. In my rotation with the Feather AG, I still have two de razors-a Mergress and a Feather AS-D1 and use these for travel as well. My other products are Proraso "green tub" eucalytus & menthol shave cream, Queen Charlotte "Vostok", and Proraso non alcoholic after shave. I thank everyone here who has helped me along my straight razor journey.
