Thread: What's the biggest razor you've shaved with (and how was the experience)?

10/8 Powell followed by all my 15/16+ Palmeras,all I shave with anymore

13/8 Kenny Powell. Its huge... Made out of A2. Awesome shaver. Hard to strop though. Otherwise lots of 8/8 shefield shavers. I love all good razors and the edge and quality of the steel matters most too me.

those powell's are really cool. sounds like they delier a great shave. like pixelfixed, i am digging the spanish 8/8s also...

Actually have two large powells,stropping is a PITA for sure using a conventional strop,thats the reason I made a large loom strop,makes life in powell land much easier for me.

I think it's an 8/8 Kama. Really nice. However, the first time my chin taught me a lesson that the heftier the razor, the more you let the razor do the work. I guess the best of both worlds to me (agility and heft) is the 6/8.

Lately, nothing under 17/16. They are better at transporting lather. You can get better cuts with them too.

gosh i have been using nothing but 5/8 i have to check out these giants they look like a lot of fun to shave with
