Thanked: 1371I want a full custom with flashing LEDs in the scales to indicate when it needs honing, and I want it to cost less than $35.
Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

Thanked: 2I would be down for almost anything. I have never used a smiley before, but I can learn. The only I would be concerned with is cost as not everyone has a huge chunk of disposable income. just my 2 pennies.

Thanked: 1195As much as I would love a razor like the one in the SRP logo I also accept the reality that it would likely be cost prohibitive and would probably never fly. Honestly, I would be happy with pretty much any SRP LE razor, since I missed the last run by one year. My preference: 6/8 minimum size, SRP logo etched or in goldwash.

Thanked: 88I think you could get really close to the logo with a production razor by using a Bergischer Lowe blank (minus the goldwash and other adornments) in blue scales. The SRP inlay would be nice, too, of course.

Thanked: 1936I received a reply from Hart & the best way I know of is to cut and paste:
Hey Scott,
We noticed this thread on straight razor place and have been discussing it with our lead razor production guy at Hart. I will tentatively say we are interested in your offer. Do you have a projection for how many razors you would initially like? Besides your logo, are there any other specific requests in the design or the scales you would like to make? Lots of different ideas in the thread... would you be shooting for one that looks like the razor in the SRP logo? Our owner, who would have the final say in orchestrating such a move, is currently out of town on vacation until mid-July, but I thought I would reach out to you to start getting some information on what you'd like and to let you know we might be able to make a project like this work. Let's keep in touch and keep talking. Thank you!
Simply put, we need to dial in the razor on exactly what we want & get some numbers. Our goal for hard numbers and design should be mid-July so the owner can make a decision based.

A 6/8 like the logo razor would be nice, but I'll go with what the group wants.

It would have to be exactly the design in the logo, otherwise I wouldn't be interested. Just having the SRP logo on a set of scales isn't the same for me. If we get enough interest for a small maker to do a run of those in that design at a relatively reasonable price, then I'd be all over it. A standard production Hart/Dovo/TI just doesn't have the same attraction to this guy.
