Unit speaks the truth. Back before I joined SRP, there had been a group buy of Thiers-Issard straight razors with the SRP logo and numbered. They were nowhere near as cool as these custom razors because (if I am correct in my assumption) they were standard T-I razors, not created identical to SRP's beautiful logo. I learned of this when one was placed for sale in the classifieds. I salivated over it too long because when I clicked the Buy button, someone else had beaten me to it.

Production of the limited edition stops at 200. As Jimmy pointed out if you are ordering in the last week or so then 8 months would probably be a good estimate for a delivery.

That gorgeous razor is absolutely worth the wait!

Update: and while I wait patiently for this, I ordered a HART STEEL to hold me over.

Sixsixty you certainly made a great choice for a "hold over" straight. Let us know what you think of the Hart.

I for one will be proud to have a LE SRP razor, logo and all. And I know I'm not alone. So if you want one, they are available to all members . If you don't, then don't.

I was a bit wordier than I intended, and I did not mean for it to sound the way it did. All I really wanted to say was:

I'm not getting one, but damn does it look awesome! An astonishing design and realisation, I have no doubt that these will serve everyone more than well. Props to Robert Williams and everyone else who made it possible for others to shave with such an exquisite beauty.

I've got a few PMs that I havent responded to this week because I'm still on my butt with my leg elevated after minor toe surgery Monday morning. I can use my iPhone but doctor and SWMB are insisting I keep the foot up. At least for now. I expect
To be back in the shop Saturday and able to use the computer tomorrow.

I have tried to send everyone a confirmation and if you ordered and didn't get one, I'd be happy to check the list for you. It's in google docs and I can't edit it from my iPhone, though.

Ivemtried to handle signups as batch work so I have let them accumulate unread for a few days and then I set about putting members on the list and responding. That reduces my chances for mistakes.

4 have been shipped and I have more partially done with my return to the shop sometime over the weekend, most likely.

Just an update for you guys.

Robert, just get to feeling better.

Everyone on the waiting list should know and understand that rushing you will do no good as you are going to take your time and turn out quality products...which is exactly why you have such a great reputation as you don't rush your finished products.

    Thanks for the update.

Agreed, I do appreciate the update though. It is interesting to learn about the process and progress. Though hard to imagine filling such a large order!

    Take care!
