Recieved number 71 in the mail on friday, shave this morning with it and loved the shave. definitely sharper than my dovo that i've fought with since it came in the mail. i love the shape and the size. i dont think iwill ever want to shave with a 5/8 lightweight again.
couple things i think i should note, while not disappointed with my purchase AT ALL!, i think i should mention that i had to sand the toe. it had some corrosion and rust. used 800 grit up to 1000 and mothers took care of it but i didnt appreciate having to do that. also the bevel is not level on one side. it seems to start out at a certain width then increase then go back down. i'm not a razor expert but i dont think that bevel will be easy to straighten. it took me forever to straighten a bevel on my dovo which does not smile.
question, on smiling blades is the bevel supposed to be wider at the heel than the toe??
