Very, very good work guys. It's a pretty cool feeling seeing something I designed - that previously only existed intangibly on our screens, now made real - and with such class... Great respect to Mr. Williams for his exceptional talent and for being so true to the design. Again if you guys need anything from me (original files, help with package design etc. please drop me a line, as I'd love to help out, for free of course)..
- Now I'll await my honorary razor to come in the mail, right?
Cheers,
- Mike

Just a thought - how would everyone feel about giving Lynn first dibs on razor number one?
After all, this resource would not exist were it not for him.
Perhaps a Mod could sort out a poll to ask this question (I don't know how)
As soon as I get the funds I'll be ordering mine.Hang on and enjoy the ride...

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

You did a great job on designing the graphics for the logo Mike. I especially like the font and it looks great etched on the belly of the blade on the new hard copy of your design. I have to give a shout out to Dfriedl . Back in June he started a thread here asking if there could be an SRP logo LE razor. That post stimulated enough interest to produce the poll and the rest , as they say, is history.

Uhhh... I want one
Not gonna happen though, cause SMWBO(mom) will kill me if I drop $360 on a razor.
Maybe next year....
And give Lynn number one!!!!Last edited by parkerskouson; 08-21-2012 at 03:01 PM.

Maybe Lynn could get a unique "founders edition" or something like that.
Also, I have to add my thanks to dfriedl for starting the conversation on this.

Lynn is getting # 1. He is paying the $ for it too BTW .... as all of us are. RW works hard for his money and has graciously discounted this razor well below what he normally gets for a custom. There will be no freebies for anyone. Just FYI.

Thanks - that's good to know. And I can't speak for others, but I never imagined anyone getting a freebie. Part of treasuring craftsmanship is being willing to pay a fair price for it, and this is IMHO more than a fair price for this razor. I was thinking more in terms of Lynn having first refusal on #1.
