Someone is selling #108 on eBay with a buy it now price of $399. Seems ballsy to me to sell it for more than what one costs new.

+ there is no wait. It is like Milt Sparks holsters. Buy a versa max 2 for $120.00 + $10 shipping and wait 3 months (used to be 6 months) or go to ebay and get it now for ...... who knows ....... from $180 to $250 for popular models.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 4I just spotted this thread. That razor looks awesome. Can someone tell me if the shape is special and what it's called. Simply put, I'm in lust after that shape! Curves like a woman that fit close and feel even better. Everyone is referring to the smiling blade but I thought that any razor could be honed with a smile if that was desired? Am I far off? Is this blade shorter than average or does the width just make it appear that way?
Now for the biggie..... does anyone know what number Robert is up to? or Are any still available? This is more than I would normally spend but with all of your reviews and the beauty of the razor, well I'm considering it. Hopefully I'll be able to figure out a way to ask for forgiveness instead of permission. Hell, I received funny looks when I disappeared at the mall and showed back up with a puck of Lavender col conk. I just couldn't sit through waiting for her to shop, (we discuss regularly a 12 step program for shoppers), and I spotted a cutlery store. I immediately got, "but you already have shave soap". Yep I do but not Lavender Col Conk was all I could say.
Thanks guys,
G

Thanked: 4206Proud owner of #81 and the smiling blade is a good description for this razor. The spine curves with the blade so it's a natural smile as opposed to a smile created by extra wear at the toe and heel of a traditional straight.
The blade length is still 3" although it does look smaller with that curve.
That curve shape hugs the face and neck beautifully during shaving and will take off any high spots on your skin without you noticing until the weepers weep.
A forgiving razor to hone, a beautiful razor to use and display. My ONLY new razor ever purchased. No regrets on the purchase.
Not sure how many are left, but not many. I would imaging they are still available right up until RW says he's out.

Thanked: 0Per a PM I sent to Robert, it is getting close to the end but I secured a spot. Kind of hope it is #200. Not that I will ever sell it but it would feel nice to have the last one.
