Hey, FX. So you're on the wrong side of the river?

You're gonna love that razor. I'm partial to my own edges, so I tweaked that the way I like it - and haven't had to touch up yet.

If I can be of help, PM me. I'm prob about 50 min. SW of you outside Scappoose. 'Hope you can make it to the Sept. meet-up in Spokane. I always learn alot & enjoy it.

Hey pinky, I'm pretty sure this is the good side of the river lol. I've never heard of any meets around here. When in September is it? The first two weekends I already have plans but if its after that I'll probably make it.

I might take you up on your offer sometime, I'm still very new to this straight game and have a lot learn. I'm still trying to figure out stropping and what different materials do. I have not yet attempted to use a stone or any other means of sharpening.

As far as the Fall Northwest Meet in Spokane goes, give Glen (GSSIXGUN) a PM here:
    http://straightrazorpalace.com/members/gssixgun.html

Tell him that you'd heard about the meet! That will allow him to know that you are interested and he can send you updates when things get more settled about dates etc!!

You will learn so much in just a few hours more that you have spending hours, days, week and months reading and asking questions!!

I never question the counsel of my good friend pinklather!

Please make the effort to meet with him! He puts a really nice edge on a blade!!

I know as we frequently exchange razors for honing comparisons!!

I just tried his Friodur tonight that he'd finished with his newest rock! OH was it nice!!!

I'm still a very green (less than 2 months) straight razor shaver but I decided I want one of these. This is such a gorgeous razor! I put my name in two weeks ago.

Why do so many members have to "tweak" their brand new SRP razors?
