    I don't think I'd worry too much about shaving a straight line or not. Don't think like you have to use the whole blade at once, just use a segment of it to shave a strip when you don't need the full smile.

    That's my thinking anyway. I've never used such a smile, but that's how I have it pictured in my mind.

    I'm sitting here tapping my foot wand WAITING!

    Quit frettin and shave with the darn thing. I suspect that even with the width of the blade AND that evil smile, YOU WILL LOVE IT!.

    short scything motions, you are not going to be able to get the full length on one go.
