I have the Pierre Thiers LE and it's a really excellent razor, if you can afford it then I'd say go for one of these. They shave superbly and also look a little different to most other razors, so they stand out and look a bit more special.
The other Limited Edition TI razors are also supposed to be very nice though too.

Yeah, those Pierre Thiers LE razors have been described as some of the best razors on earth by a few members here who have them. If this is your short list, I'd go that way if you can.
Lynn also said he got one of the egyptians from them and was so impressed with it he ordered another immediately.

I'm going to be the voice of reason here - I'm not sure how long you've been using a straight and, while I have heard nothing but good things about the LE, if you're relatively new at this, it might make sense to go with a less expensive TI to make sure you like the way a TI shaves before droping the cash on the LE. Also if you're relatively new to straight shaving, it might make sense to learn how to maintain your razors before potentially screwing up an LE (I'm going by your number of posts, which may not be a good reflection of your expeience level).
I have a 6/8 in the Sheffield steel that is a great razor - they go for about $150 at classicshaving, but can likely be had for about the same price from EC vendors.
Having said all of that, its your cash, so spend it any way you want - you can't go wrong with a TI - the one I have is one of my favourite razors (and there are definitely more TIs in my future!). As other's have said, there are lots of nice limited editions out there - all of which are supposed good shavers.

Thanks - and good advice.
There's another LE that's about half the price I may go for. If I like that one I'll get the 'expensive one' in due course.
I don't have a lot of straight shaving experience, but i've managed to get a couple of ebay razors pretty much shave ready (using the razor i bought off Joe Chandler as a benchmark), on the norton 4K/8K.
i've also bought a Tony Miller pasted strop for touch ups whilst I'm learning.
Believe it or not it's cheaper to get most razors from classicshaving (including honing, shipping & custom charges) than from here in the UK or Europe !!
