Thanked: 3164If you magnify that image, the little white dots appear to be deflections, not chips - you can see the rolled-back metal. Your strop must have got some grit on it somehow, is my guess.

Neil

Hey it wasnt me, ok ?
I once chipped my filarmonica on my tap, barely even felt it but left the same sort of dings. Stuff happens, get it fixed up and move on
Eric.

I actually can't see the image in the OP to comment on repairs.
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

When you rolled your razor over that the end of your stroke on the strop did you maybe unintentionally nip a steel screw cap that holds the flap over? It's easy to do without realizing it if you go a little low on your strop. Just a thought.
