    If its was mine i wait to the 8k arrives and go from the 8k up to 12k.
    They are not that big so honed very quick out.

    Personally I'd start at 1k or 2k but your 4k will work. Repairing that on a C12k would be an exercise in patience I wouldn't choose to do.

    If they are rolled defects, once you hone the rolled portions off, they will than be chips,the blade needs work, plain and simple.
