Maybe if it is not too bad. If you have an eye loupe or microscope to inspect as you go that would be a good thing. Anyway, do circles on the 12k if that is all you have. If you're lucky it won't require a lower grit and a progression through the higher grits. Worse case scenario you have to send it out. Bottom line is it can be fixed.

Are you stropping with an x-stroke?
My guess is that you are running along the edge of the strop at the end of your x stroke.

He's obviously listening and paying attention. The possibilities listed above are not exclusive, and possibilities remain. It certainly didn't result from normal shaving no matter how tough his beard is. It is also possible that his blade is a victim of the TNT. The steel in that area may not be sufficiently robust, it may have been too fine in that area, or an attempt to clean the blade was done in an unfortunate manner. There are many ways for a blade to get deformed, and he has experienced one of them. There is never enough said.

Thanked: 2My strop has no nails. Maybe the edge of my strop did it somehow. But i strop lightly and dont know how that would happen. Anyways what matters is how to fix it. Just normal honing will do? How so i get past the chips? Ive never honed chips out

Honing those areas out will just require regular honing. Hone with x-strokes, evenly over the whole edge, until the areas are gone. Those don't look like big chips so I don't think it needs a ton of work.
I've never used a 12k for anything like that but I guess it's worth a shot.
If it doesn't work out I'd be happy to hone the razor for you if you cover shipping.

I would start with light strokes.
What kind of 12k is it? Naniwa?
