I don't think I'll be offering this service on a regular basis. It was a fun experiment, but I didn't like how long it's taking me to turn the hones...

Barber hones are notoriously hard to lap, and to help me get some hones flattened I bought a DMT 320-grit diamond hone. This thing works like a charm. I lapped a beat-up Swaty in about 20 minutes.
